Quotes about first names (mostly from fiction). They may be nice; they may not. Opinions may be the authors’ or even the characters. No slights on anybody’s names are intended – merely a themed collection of quotes!
This is all an amusement – and a sample of the fascination we all have for our names (and other people’s).
(In real life, I’ve been a children’s librarian, so if rather a large amount come from children’s and teenage books, that’s why. I have an interest in names, so somewhere along the way started noting down quotes, especially if they were amusing.)
